1Visa formalities
Gabon has established an electronic visa, also called e-visa to facilitate entry into its territory. Currently e-Visas are valid only for those wanting to visit Gabon by air via Leon Mba International Airport in Libreville. E-visas are granted for these durations:
1. From one (1) to three (3) months single entry, the cost is
70 EUR or 45000 XAF + 15 EUR as file processing fee.

2. For six (6) months with multiple entries which cost
185 EUR or 120000 XAF + 15 EUR as file processing fee.
. Payments are made on arrival at the delivery of the e-visa sticker. The application processing time is 72 hours, after ETA reception

Some vaccines are recommended or required for Gabon. The CDC and WHO recommend the following vaccines for Gabon: typhoid, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, cholera, yellow fever, rabies, and influenza.
Yellow fever

Malaria
is present in Gabon. Be sure to take antimalarials with you as part of your travel kit. A Passport Health travel specialist can help you identify your risk factors for the disease.
Dengue
and chikungunya are two more mosquito-borne diseases found in Gabon. Both are preventable through proper use of repellents, netting and wearing proper clothing.
Medical facilities in urban areas may meet some needs, but they are limited. Medical facilities expect payment before services and do not accept credit cards. Medical facilities can not be found in rural areas.
Make sure to bring your own prescription and medicine as they will most likely not be available in Gabon.
3How is the weather?
In Gabon, an African country crossed by the equator, the climate is hot and humid all year round in the north and in inland areas,
with a short dry season from June to August, while in the central and southern part of the coast, the temperatures become cooler during the dry season.
In the far south, the dry season is even longer, going from mid-May to mid-September.
