 Libreville is the capital and largest city of Gabon, in western central Africa. The city is a port on the Komo River, near the Gulf of Guinea, and a trade center for a timber region. As of 2013 its census population was 703,904.

Early morning arrival in Libreville. Meet and greet with driver and transfer to a tea salon. One hour later transfer to Lambarene – Albert Schweitzer’s house.

Midday lunch and visit of Albert Schweitzer museum, hospital followed by Lambarene city tour and transfer to Libreville.

Today we travel to Tsam Tsam and meet with staff from a local community project, OELO (Organisation Ecotouristique du Lac Oguemoué). Activities for visitors to the project are led by the community and include guided forest hikes, night safaris by boat, canoe trips by dug-out pirogue, village visits, and evenings of traditional music. Our accommodation for the night will be on secluded platforms with tents and mattresses Night at TSAM TSAM

A full day at Tsam Tsam to enjoy the various activities by this excellent community project. In afternoon trekking in tsam tsam savannah. In Option: At night folkloric traditional danse. Overnight tented camp, Lake Oguemoué.
